EAST : I proclaim the festival of Alban Eilir, the light of the earth at the moment of the starting of spring, the spring equinox.
WEST : I proclaim the day and night are equally long once more.
SOUTH : I proclaim the balance between winter and summer.
NORTH : I proclaim the moment of natural balance.
EAST : Honor to the light beings, that stand countless in the sky.
WEST : Honor to the forces of the green Earth and her waters.
SOUTH : Honor to the forces of the sun and moon.
NORTH : Honor to the forces of the Otherworld and the inner darkness.
HERAUT : Day and night are now in perfect balance. We are on the border between the darkness and the light. Today we will all pass through this gate, to the light half of the year. Watch, the Mabon arrives as the anouncer of spring.
MABON : (moves to DRUID and says :
With this clover i offer you the symbol of Alban Eilir.
DRUID : (accepts the clovers )
We thank the Mabon for this gift, which stands for the living force of the three rays of light of the clover that grows everywhere Ceridwen left her footsteps.
MABON : (goes to west and says :
I give this circle these flowers as a symbol of the celebration of spring held here.
DRUID : (accepts the flowers)
We thank the Mabon for this gift that symbolises the growing forces of the light.
(pauses)
Someone is waiting outside our circle. It is the Lady Ceridwen and i will ask her to now enter this circle so we can welcome her.
LADY CERIDWEN : (goes to DRUID in the east and says ) :
I come here with the promise of abundance in this circle. On this moment when day and night are equally long i bring the seeds and the wine of the Earth, seeds that have grown and wine that has ripened in the previous years.
(gives the seeds and the wine to DRUID )
These gifts are for you, the wise ones and guardians, who keep and give the seeds of knowledge and the wine of the wise.
DRUID : From the Earth Her promise, from the Lady’s beautiful gifts from the mountains and valleys. We accept with gratitude the seeds and the wine. With these gifts we shall rebuild the temple and the songs of this Alban gate.
We will now have a 3 minute silent reflection to considder by yourself what you would like to ‘grow’ in your life. In the middle the holy fire burns. Let us now be in our center in perfect love and trust, in peace and in power in this sacred circle.

Obrigada. (E a imagem é linda!)

E qual será o Caminho do Meio, longe destes extremos?
DIficilmente.
Melhor, pois, cantar e bailar, compôr, escrever, criar.
